Donate to American Legion Activities
There are multiple ways to donate to the American Legion and to Post 229 in Madison.
1. Current status as a certified Veteran's organization 501(c)19 improves the ability for individuals, communities and businesses to financially support Madison Post 229 so that the members can perform charitable activities for the Madison community.
2. Post 229 received IRS approval for an additional designation as a 501(c)3 charity, to facilitate additional charitable donations to the local Madison Post 229 organization. See the new folder: American Legion Post 229 Foundation, Inc. for details.
3. A convenient web link to the National American Legion's Headquarters page provides an immediate method to donate to the American Legion:
